Enough with all theory and certificates: TYW academy is all about the yacht! You learn all the practical skills needed to make you feel comfortable sailing a large sailing yacht.

Choose one of these courses:

  2. Advanced Course
  3. Yachting Event Management

All courses will be over a 2 week period on the 9th - 23rd of April 2011.

Short of time? Try The Yacht Week skipper refresh-course of 1 week. Will be offered every week throughout April of 2011. (more info to come)

Competency Requirements:

English is a minimum language requirement for all the courses. All participant needs to be at least 20 years old.
  1. For the Basic Skipper School you need nautical education* and some knowledge of sailing.
  2. For the Advanced Skipper School you need nautical education* and good knowledge of sailing. Previous sailing experience is mandatory.
  3. For the Yachting Event Management Course interest in sailing and a passion for events and service is a must! Multilingual is preferable.
