Description

Who should go this course?

You have some theoretical knowledge about sailing and have been sailing before - maybe never as a skipper or only on small sailing yachts. With this course you will a lot about how to maneuver a yacht in a port and some basic about sailing. OR perhaps you feel a bit unsure about your skills and want to get some professional advice from a very experienced Skipper.

Why?

Because the hardest part of sailing is to get in and out of a port and moor the yacht. We want you to feel confident and safe when entering a port or natural anchorage. In very short this course is 30% sailing and 70% maneuvering the yacht by engine.

Date & Location

9th - 23rd of April 2011

At the moment all our course are offered in Greece during April. The Greek ports are complicated to moor in since they are small and with no mooring lines - this is the perfect place to practice! April offers warm spring weather and low prices as it's off season. (prices are much higher in May/June..)

PRICE

The price per person is €800 and includes all meals on the yacht. (cooked by you and your fellow crew mates). Every yacht will have 4-5 skippers (you) and 1 instructor. When you're not at the helm you will assist as a deckhand at moorings and maneuvers. The price also includes all fuel and marina fees. Only extra cost is for optional restaurant dinners and alcoholic drinks. YES! The price also includes a few parties along the route when we need to have some fun :-)

No dates are fixed for the spring courses 2011. Please sign up here if you are interested in joining. We will contact you as soon as we have decided on exact dates & prices!
