Yachting Event Management
During The Yacht Week we need lot of staff to help with various tasks related to our events. This course is designed for people who would like to join our CREW BOAT this summer. The course's main focus is that you get to know how yachts work, what sailing is like and how to manage large events.
Typical tasks during the events would be:
- Talking to customers and explaining how everything works
- Helping to arrange parties
- Sell The Yacht Week merchandise
- Safety guard at night
- Shopping and cooking
- Learn how to work as a deck hand on a sailing yacht
- Have fun with guests!
During the Skipper course you will be responsible for setting up all arrangements, on land and on board. We will teach you everything about sailing and how to work and operate a yacht. Every day will have a practical and theoretical part.
You will also get to try to sail and and maneuver a yacht by yourself!
