Maria Karlsson

I’m 22 years old and currently living in Gothenburg, Sweden. I grew up around boats and the sea is a big passion for me. I started photographing five years ago and when I bought my first DSLR-camera my interest exploded. Everywhere I go, my camera goes too and my biggest dream is to be a photographer traveling all around the world. When I’m not photographing I work at Volvo Information Technology and I’m also spending some time in the dojang, practicing taekwon-do.

When I photograph I always try to “frame the feeling”. My main focuses are landscape and documentary style portraits and situations. I love portraits in black and white and landscapes in vivid colours.
