Keep the yacht clean inside! (A messy boat is a security risk, every morning before sailing the yacht needs to be cleaned.)
Provide the skipper with 3 real meals per day! (Even if you are not hungry the skipper needs real food! Previous years some skippers have survived on pasta/ketchup and/or sandwiches for a whole weeks. That's not OK, we are humans after all and deserve some proper food.) Respect the skippers advice since he/she is actually the boss on the boat. The skippers have a lot of responsibility and are working quite a lot. When you relax the skippers are normally sailing and in charge of the yacht. That is why it is crucial to help and support them at all times. |
