BEFORE BOOKING:
1. Gather Your Friends
Depending on the size of the yacht, the yachts can accommodate between 6 and 14 people. You and your friends will have your own yacht and, if required, we can supply a skipper. It’s not possible to go on this trip as an individual as we only accept yacht bookings. The minimum age for the event is 20 years old.
Can’t find a crew? Post a link in our Facebook Page and look for other people wanting to build a crew!
2. Choose a Destination & Week
During the winter and spring The Yacht Week sails around the The British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. Then we cross the globe to Italy, Greece and Croatia to enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean summer. Each event commences and finishes on a Saturday lasting a total duration of one week. We do not organise with travel/flights.
3. Choose a Yacht
Yachts vary in size and price, so choose whatever suits you! Prices range from €350-2000 per person – the average is around €450. Make sure you pack swimming clothes, snorkeling gear and sunscreen! Once you have chosen and booked a yacht you need to pay by credit card over 3 payments. More info on booking and payments below:
HOW TO BOOK:
1. Organising the 3 payments
One person will need to pay for the whole yacht and collect money from his/her friends.
2. Filling out crew list details online.
We require the following data from all crew members: Name, date of birth, passport number and contact details. You can add your crew members via our Facebook Application.
3. Acting as the main contact upon arrival and departure.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION:
- Once you have paid your booking will be confirmed and fixed. You will not be refunded if you decide to cancel the booking.
- If you don’t pay within 24 hours the booking will be cancelled.
- Please check your spam filter if you do not receive your confirmation email as it may have ended up there.
All bookings will be paid in 3 down payments:
CROATIA / ITALY / GREECE
- 30% of the total cost, paid within 24 hours after booking.
- 30% of the total cost, paid before 1st of April 2012.
- 40% of the total cost, see the dates below
- May 1st 2012 (for bookings that depart in June 2012)
- May 14th 2012 (for bookings that depart in July 2012)
- June 1st 2012 (for bookings that depart in August 2012
- June 14th 2012 (for bookings that depart in September 2012)
If preferred, you may settle the total in one payment.
BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS (Caribbean)
- 30% of the total cost, paid within 24 hours after booking.
- 70% of the total cost, for New Year October 15th 2011, for Spring Trips January 1st 2012
If preferred, you may settle the total in one payment.
PROBLEMS WITH PAYMENTS?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
IF you payment is declined, please contact your bank to check with them first for possible reasons:
- Not enough funds in the account
- Maximum daily limit set by the bank for a transaction
- Default block on international transfers. Check your your bank to ensure they allow international transfers with your card
- Your bank requires you to activate 3-D secure, since we support that feature. 3-D secure is an extra layer of security where you are redirected to your bank to submit a personal pin code in order to identify the buyer before the purchase goes through.
