Writing on top of water... a bit about the author...

I was born and raised in southern California, therefore naturally, the energy from the eternal sunshine and my love for the ocean are two things that remain deep within my core. California is home, but my curiosity encouraged me to spread my wings after high school to try something completely new. After studying in Lugano, Switzerland for one year, I decided to move to the vibrant capital of Spain where I am now currently living and finishing up my university career in journalism and advertising. Madrid is such an inspiring environment that I have created my very own blog, La SireLa Sirena Madrileña (The Madrid Mermaid), dedicated especially to the endless plans and eclectic nature of the city. Alongside journalism and advertising, I have the perfect position to complement my studies by forming part of The Yacht Week family as the Brand Ambassador of Spain.

From the most outrageous summer party in Split amidst a group of very international and energized people to the most dazzling launch parties in London, Amsterdam and Madrid, I can truly say I have had a blast.
