Here we manage to catch up with them between day parties, set planning, the insane night events and the very little sleep they get for a quick chat to find a little more about what makes Nino Fish and Sixty69Nine get out of bed every day. Where are you representing? Nino: I’m from Munich in Germany. 69: I’m from Belgium and live only 30 minutes from Brussels. Nino: I started to DJ at the age of 15. The first vinyl I bought myself was Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode". 69: I’ve always been into music and I started DJ-ing and collecting vinyl records at the age of 14. Nino: At the age of 17 in a really nice club in Munich. 69: At the age of 16 at a local club. Nino: House music with a commercial touch. 69: I play many different genres of house music, but I prefer playing big room, progressive house with a lot of self-made edits and mash-ups. Nino: Monday at the Aquarius Night Club in Viz. We had such an amazing crowd and a really nice location on the beach. 69: I agree with Nino. Aquarius was totally off the hook. Although the party on Sunday night at the old fort came pretty close! Nino: The Yacht Week is an amazing experience. Bring any type of music because the people are from all over the world and not everybody likes house music! 69: Playing at a Yacht Week party is an interesting and special experience.
