Our first stop on the Italy route was the island of Salina, the third island due north of Portarosa. En route a couple of boats stopped at Porto di Levante on the island of Vulcono where crews could go into the beach and enjoy natural sulfur hot springs.  There is a sulfur mud pond where people can take the hot white mud from the bottom of the pond and spread it on their skin until it dries acting as a natural exfoliate. Other crews stopped on the south side of Vulcono or up on the Northwest side of Salina in the picturesque bay of Pollara. In classic TYW fashion, all of the boats converged on the town of Santa Marina on the East side of Salina right at sunset and found a spot on the dock in the marina or opted to anchor just outside the marina.  After some early cocktails in town, the party took place up in the mountains, about a 15 minute bus ride from town. The club overlooked the steep hills of the island down into town. Buses ran all night taking crews back to their boats only once they had their fix of drink and dance.
