Walk the Dock: Fashion @The Yacht Week

Yacht Week

By Yacht Week

Posted on 14th August 2012

It’s just that time of the week. Wednesday for those in the real world and Hvarday for those at The Yacht Week.  Everyone looks forward to this moment, saving their most stylish ensemble for le grande day. Today will be painted with vibrant colors, denim, knits and always a touch of nautical spirit seen on both the masculine and feminine front. Warm colors such as coral, yellow, and orange seem to be taking the lead together with the cool hues of blue, turquoise and sapphire. Girls are pulling out their cropped tops, neon accents, high waisted shorts and gladiator sandals. Boys are stepping into their Sebagos, denim shorts and tailor fit blouses. After all Hvarday is one to remember while at TYW so make it big with your outfit.

For all of you at home still, anxiously awaiting the best summer vacation of your life, don’t hesitate too much on packing your suitcase.  At The Yacht Week, it’s all about quality not quantity.  Girls, grab your sandals and leave your numerous pairs of city strutting heels at home.  Boys, pull out those boat shoes and nautical striped polos. If you are wondering what to bring on board, make note of this list to ensure you have your Yacht Week duffel bag ready and filled with the proper Yacht Week gear.
