5 Reasons to Book The Yacht Week Early

September 27, 2016

Winter blues? Ain't nobody got time for that.

Being the summer addicts we are, we're always on the hunt for ways to bypass the dreaded winter blues and seek the sunlight at the end of the long dark tunnel. In our experience the most effective way to do this is to secure the next summer trip before the rest of the world jumps on board!

Here's 5 reasons why you should do the same...

1. Access to the best yachts

Fancy sailing into a floating festival on a 50ft catamaran with air conditioning, comfy beds, a spacious sundeck and powerful showers? Yep, so do a lot of people. So best you book early to secure your steamy Cat? 14372358_10154571707614516_3838870851134973084_o-1

2. Pick any paradise

All our destinations provide a similar experience, but the vibe may be slightly different due to amount of yachts, local culture, night life, solid squads and sailing experience. Sometimes less is more and other times 'more' is a crazy floating festival experience with +700 people – up to you.

3. Lock in the best week for your crew

We all know how difficult it is to coordinate a group holiday with 12 friends; there's always one bad egg who has a second cousin's wedding that week. That's why we offer multiple weeks to choose from for most destinations, but they tend to get snatched up quick, so book whilst your options are open.

4. Bring your A-team

When it comes to The Yacht Week there are no rules, except for one: 50/50 guys and girls on all weeks. We try to get an equal balance on all our events because, well, variety is the spice of life and no one likes too much sausage with their hotdog, or bap with their bacon - jah feel? We may offer some all guy yachts on a first-come-first-served basis, so if you're planning a lads on tour make sure you assemble the troops early!

5. Get the best flight deals

The oldest trick in the book: the early bird catches the best flight. We don't include flights in our price, but we highly recommend securing your dates early so that you can plan your trip and hunt for the cheapest flights around.

General bookings open 26 October but if you want 1st dibs on all the best yachts, weeks and destinations be ready and waiting to book at 6pm (London time). Remember: it's rude to leave a vacation waiting.
