Cabin Bookings, Croatia

First Point Of Call - Check In Online!

If you haven't already, please check in and fill out your full profile details on your Yacht Week Profile page. If forgotten then it will cause delays to your check in day and more importantly delays in you boarding your yacht!

To check in you need to fill out the following information:

  • Passport Information
  • DOB
  • Nationality
  • Gender
  • Email

Once all is complete, the last thing to do is press that ‘Check in’  button!

*Don't forget you will need to have at least 6 months validity on your passport to travel so don’t forget to check its expiry!

Check In Day.

The day has finally arrived! You can smell the exclusive parties and a week of sun!

Your skipper will be in touch with you and the crew regarding when your yacht will be ready. Check in will be onboard your yacht with The Yacht Week Event Staff.

Please be in contact with your skipper on Saturday to learn when your yacht is ready. You should have access to your yacht between 4-6pm, your skipper will let you know what marina your yacht will be docked at (ACI Split Marina, Kastela Marina, SCT Trogir Marina, ACI Trogir Marina and Baotic Marina).

Please be advised delays can occur as the yacht is being cleaned and prepared after the previous week’s charter. The Yacht Week is not responsible for any delays to your yacht but we will do our best to work with the charter companies to get you your yacht as early as possible.

While waiting for check in, we advise you, your crew and host (if you have one included) to head to the supermarket to collect your provisions for the week. There are small shops on the islands but they can be expensive, so we recommend you to stock up on the mainland! For ACI Split Marina, Kastela Marina, SCT Trogir Marina and ACI Trogir Marina there is a supermarket at walking distance from the marina. For those who are moored at Baotic Marina there is a supermarket in Trogir Town which is only a 5 minutes taxi ride from the marina.

For those without a host, we recommend shopping close to the marina. The team onsite will be able to direct you to the nearest supermarket.

Once you are on board The Yacht Week team will come to your yacht to say hi and give you your official TYW wristband. On your first night, you won’t leave the marina, so late arrivals make your skipper aware in advance.

Check out.

You will get back to the marina you departed from on Friday between the hours 1-3pm, the charter company will come onto the yacht to do a check before you leave and you will receive your deposit back provided that no damages have occurred. You will need to depart the yacht at 5pm on Friday.

Please note that this could vary depending on weather conditions or if you would like to head back early to catch a flight.

*We recommend booking your flight home for Saturday to save any stress and delays. There are plenty of hotels/hostels in the town.

Getting there.

Flights: ✈️

Split Airport (SPU) is the closest airport to all of our marinas for Croatia Original Route, Drumcode and Ultra. We recommend using a search engine to find the best flights:

Expedia

Skyscanner

Split Airport to Kastela Marina:

Taxi - There are multiple ways of reaching Kastela Marina. Taxi drivers line up outside and this may make the most sense for a larger group of people. Cost is approximately €20-€30.

Bus - Directly across the street from the airport is the local bus (37) which will take you to the entrance of Kastela Marina. Everyone is super friendly in Croatia so the bus driver will help you! They arrive every 20-30 minutes and cost approximately €2.

Split Airport to ACI Split Marina:

Taxi - From Split airport the trip will cost around €40-€50, this is the fastest way to travel and will bring you directly to the marina.

Bus - Croatia Airlines offer a bus/van from Split Airport to the Riva in Split city center. From there you will need to take a short cab ride or water taxi to the marina. Make sure to specify ACI Split Marina as there are a few marinas nearby. The Croatia Airline van costs €5.

Split Airport to Marina Baotic:

Taxi - There are multiple ways of reaching Marina Baotic. Taxi drivers line up outside and this may make the most sense for a larger group of people. Cost is approximately €35.

Bus -  Directly across the street from the airport is a local bus (37) which will take you to Trogir. Everyone in Croatia is really friendly so the bus driver will help you! Buses arrive every hour and cost approximately €3.

Split Airport to ACI Trogir Marina:

Taxi -There are multiple ways of reaching ACI Trogir Marina.

Security Deposit.

Take the hassle out of check in day and enjoy a smooth sailing week of ease by pre paying your Security Deposit which is due for all cabin bookings. To pre-pay the yacht security deposit online, simply go to the ‘Extras’ section of your booking and select the non refundable €100 per cabin security deposit option. Payment can be made by credit card, which is the most convenient and secure way to complete the transaction.

If you prefer to pre-pay a refundable amount, you have the option to pay this nearer the time of your booking.

*Please note that the only thing not covered by the yacht security deposit is any blocked toilets. However, don’t worry - your skipper will make sure you know how to use the toilets properly to avoid any issues.

Covid Restrictions.

There are currently no COVID restrictions regarding entry to Croatia.

Visas & Passports.

All travelers will need a passport valid for at least 6 months following your departure date from Croatia. Make sure your passport has blank Visa pages. Check www.visahq.com for Visa requirements for all nationalities.

The Entry/Exit System (EES) is set to launch in the EU in 2025. It will replace manual passport stamping with biometric data (fingerprints and facial images) for travellers entering or leaving the EU, aiming to improve border efficiency and security. Additionally, the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS), a visa waiver program for non-EU citizens, is also expected to launch in 2025.

We advise all guests traveling to or from Croatia, from non-EU countries to allow extra time at the airport due to the potential for longer queues.

Travel Insurance.

In accordance with our bookings terms and conditions, we strongly recommend that you get travel insurance.

Travel Insurance can provide valuable protection and peace of mind when you’re traveling. It can cover unexpected events such as; trip cancellation, trip interruption, or medical emergencies while you’re away from home. With travel insurance, you may be reimbursed for non-refundable expenses if you have to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a sudden illness or a natural disaster. Travel Insurance can also cover emergency medical expenses, including hospitalization, medical evacuation, and repatriation. Additionally, some policies may provide coverage for lost or stolen baggage, travel delays, or accidental death and dismemberment. Having Travel Insurance can help you avoid financial losses and protect you from unexpected situations while you’re on the road.

Luggage Storage.

Baotic Marina has luggage storage, you can leave them by the Marina reception desk. Please see the prices below:

€3,50 per luggage piece, per day

€20.00 per luggage piece, per week.

However, please check on your booking profile which marina your yacht is moored at as not all the marinas have luggage storage. Alternatively, you can keep your luggage on you or leave it in Split Town Centre until you come to the marina.
