Travelling to Greece

All of our marinas in Greece are close to Athens Airport (ATH), which is well connected to many European airports. Read on for some tips on getting to Greece and getting to your marina.

Getting to your marina

Athens airport to Lavrio Marina

Taxi

There are plenty of taxis waiting just outside the airport. From the airport to Lavrio marina, a taxi for four people will cost approximately €50. From downtown Athens to Lavrio, a taxi for four people will cost approximately €80.

Bus

Take the local KTEL Bus number 10 and 11 to Lavrio marina. Buses depart every 60 minutes from the arrivals level opposite the Sofitel Hotel. You will need to change bus at Markopoulo and continue on to Lavrio. The bus is €4 per person to Lavrio. See more at www.athensinfoguide.com/gettingaroundbus.

 

Athens airport to Alimos Marina

Taxi

There are plenty of taxis waiting just outside the airport. From the airport to Alimos marina, a taxi for four people will cost approximately €50 for a 45 minute journey.

Bus

Take the X96 to Alimos Marina. Buses depart every 20-30 minutes from the airport bus stop. Make sure you alight at bus stop EDEM which is 5 minutes walk from the marina. The journey takes around 90 minutes and costs around €5 per person.

Metro

Take the Metro from the airport to Syntagma Square. From there change to the Tram Line to Alimos Marina (EDEM Stop). The Metro runs every 30 minutes. The journey takes around 60 minutes and costs around €10 per person. For more information visit www.amel.gr.
