Day 8 Experiences Ltd is the company behind The Yacht Week; it started in 2006 and has taken onboard more than 50 000 guests from over 100 countries. Now we have 4 different products where The Ski Week is our second biggest event, bringing people together from all over the world in skiers paradises. We are a young team of passionate people who love travelling and meeting people from everywhere. We are 30+ people working full time in London plus hundreds more during the summer season.
With a big focus on musical programming and exceptional event operations we are in need of a talented, organised and outgoing individual to aid with the management of our DJ team on the ground in Greece. Working with our Entertainment Manager, the role will focus on the onsite management of DJs, logistics, equipment and music in Greece, and being the onsite point of contact for everything music related. Living and working on the Crew Yacht, you will get to rub shoulders with our experienced team of resident artists, as well as the up and comers and help deliver events in some of the regions best venues. Furthermore, in 2020 the successful candidate will also act as one of The Yacht Week's residents in Greece for the duration of the contract. The role requires an experienced performer who is able to cater to different crowds across differing set times while adhering to the organisation's music policy.
  • Point of contact between the Entertainment Manager, DJs, Event Manager and venues
  • Ensure Music Policy is being adhered to at events throughout the program
  • Ensure DJ equipment is in good working order in addition to set-up and pack-down for each event
  • Manage DJ hospitality and aid in DJ transport and logistics if required
  • Perform as the support DJ alongside TYW resident artists

    • Passion for a wide range of musical genres
    • Fluent in English

    This job is based in Greece. Work hours vary from day-to-day depending on the program timeline and event(s) hosted on the day.
    This is an unpaid position. All work-related food and accommodation is covered by The Yacht Week.
