The role is a full time position that is based in London with work from home flexibility.

Senior Growth and Performance Manager

We are looking for a passionate, proactive and organised Senior Growth and Performance Manager to drive key activity and optimise engagement and acquisition across Day 8’s portfolio of products. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for owning and delivering marketing for ‘always on’ destination products within the Day 8 portfolio. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a result-driven and growth-oriented marketer to drive engagement, experience and acquisition across a range of exciting products, including Yacht Week. We’re looking for passion for and experience within the travel industry. 

Day-to-day you will report to the CMO and work with teams across the business. 


  • Destination marketing:
    • Delivery of our  ‘always on’  destinations and products strategy. 
    • Development of high quality, innovative multi-channel campaigns and marketing activities. 
  • Performance marketing management
    • Ownership of the prospect journey from awareness to acquisition. 
    • Management and optimisation of paid activity with our external agency.
    • Management of a growth backlog of opportunities, prioritised and tackled. 
    • Management of key channels, including email, SMS and Push. 
    • Ownership of KPI and metrics reporting. 
    • Development of technical marketing roadmap. Increase sophistication within key platforms - e.g. Klaviyo and Intercom to create better experiences for prospects and customers that engage and convert. 
  • Asset management
    • Own and develop key marketing channels, including website, email and our app, with an emphasis on engagement and acquisition. 
    • Content management including ownership of website content and communication across email, SMS, push.
  • General management
    • Manage relationships and delivery with external agencies and freelancers to support digital marketing activities ensuring high quality outputs on time, on budget and to a high standard. 
    • Line management - two reports, one direct. 
    • Budget management. Maintain a P&L and marketing budget, providing an accurate view of performance, compiling management reports.


Explain qualifications or experience required, personal attributes etc e.g.;

  • Experience in the Travel industry. 
  • Experience managing and executing multi channel campaigns, including paid media.
  • Experience managing complex budgets. 
  • Experience with martech platforms - e.g. Klaviyo. 
  • Passion for working in an exciting and fast-paced environment. 
  • Responsible and committed to meet team goals and deadlines.
  • An energetic personality with a positive dedicated approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Proven analytical skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Open to travel where required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.


You will be based out of our modern office in East London for the majority of the year, some International travel may also be required in some of our awesome locations around the globe.
