FAQ

Can I be placed on the same yacht as my friends?

Absolutely! If you book more than one cabin at the same time, we will ensure all your cabins are assigned to the same yacht. You can book up to 3 cabins on the same yacht. If you book your cabin separately to your friend, just be sure to drop us an email to info@theyachtweek.com with the booking IDs and we will do our best to assign you to the same yacht.

Who will I be sailing with?

Your cabin will be assigned to a yacht around 2 weeks before you set sail. Once you are matched up, you can begin chatting with your fellow crew members (and skipper and host) on our Day8 app! You'll be sharing with 8-10 guests (+ skipper and host) on board! We aim to have a 50/50 gender ratio on all cabin booking yachts (however this does depend on how many bookings we get and therefore we can not guarantee that this will be the case on all yachts).

What is the difference between self catered and fully catered cabins?

Self-catered cabin bookings include basics for breakfasts and lunches, but as a host is not included in this cabin type, you and your fellow crew members will have to prepare it yourself. You will be assigned to a standard monohull of 45-50ft. Fully-catered cabin bookings include all breakfasts, all lunches and two dinners, which are all freshly prepared and served on board by your host. You will be assigned to a premium monohull of 47-53ft.
