Here you will find the latest travel updates from each of our destinations.

If it becomes necessary to make major changes to the event, guests will be offered alternative trip options.

Due to the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus, we are now allowing travellers to transfer their booking to later in the year with no admin charges. Take a look at all your options on The Complete Guide to the Coronavirus and your Yacht Week.

We are committed to ensuring our guests receive timely and accurate information on the travel situation and how it affects our events. As an ABTA member, TYW takes travel advice from ABTA and the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Their advice on travel relating to coronavirus can be found here:

Week status information - due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are reviewing all our weeks for the summer. Please see below for more information about your route.

  • Postponed - your week has been postponed. We will be in touch via email to explain all your options to you.
  • Under review - we are taking advice from local partners, governments and international travel restrictions. A week will be confirmed or postponed no later than 30 days prior to the departure date. In the meantime, you have to option to either:
    • Move your trip to a new date later in 2020
    • Swap your dates to Summer 2021
    • Defer your booking and receive a Refund Credit Note for the amount paid so far
  • Going ahead - currently, no major changes are planned on your week.
Croatia
  • TYW Croatia weeks status:

  • The Croatian government has begun to open its borders to EU nationals of certain countries with restrictions in place. Travellers from outside the EU may enter Croatia under certain circumstances. It is expected for Croatia to be fully open in time for the events.
  • The European Union has recommended that US residents are banned from entry to European countries as of the 1 July 2020. This does not apply to US citizens who are resident in the EU or other countries listed as ‘safe countries’.
  • The Department of State advises U.S. citizens to reconsider travel abroad due to the global impact of COVID-19. No end date has been announced for these restrictions.
  • UK Foreign Office advises against all but essential international travel to Croatia. As it stands these restrictions will not affect the events.
  • Australian Department of Foreign Affairs advises against travel to Croatia. No end date has been announced for these restrictions.
Greece
  • TYW Greece week status:

  • Greek authorities will begin allowing EU nationals of certain countries to enter Greece from the 15 June 2020. It is expected that all nationalities will be permitted to travel to Greece after the 1 July 20.
  • The European Union has recommended that US residents are banned from entry to European countries as of the 1 July 2020. This does not apply to US citizens who are resident in the EU or other countries listed as ‘safe countries’.

  • Montenegro has begun to allow certain nationalities to enter the country. The list of countries will be reviewed over the coming weeks as restrictions are eased.
  • The Department of State advises U.S. citizens to reconsider travel abroad due to the global impact of COVID-19. No end date has been announced for these restrictions.
  • UK Foreign Office advises against all but essential international travel to Montenegro.
  • Australian Department of Foreign Affairs advises against travel to Montenegro. No end date has been announced for these restrictions.
Travel Insurance

If you are concerned about travel disruption in the event of a medical epidemic, we advise purchasing Extended Travel Disruption Insurance. Most travel insurance companies offer this cover for a small additional fee and it gives reassurance that your trip is covered in the event of unforeseen air travel disruption.
