While we are just over 30 people working full-time all year, the team extends to hundreds more over the event season from all over the world.

The role is a full time position that is based in London with work from home flexibility.

Digital marketer

We are looking for a passionate, proactive and organised Digital Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in driving marketing activity, customer engagement and revenue growth across Day 8’s portfolio of products. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering integrated marketing campaigns.

Day-to-day you will report to the CMO and work with teams across the business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own key marketing channels including website, blog and email. 

Develop and execute marketing plans that engage prospects and drive conversion. You’ll be responsible for crafting compelling campaigns, good looking assets and writing pithy, punchy conversion-focused copy. 

  • Development of technical marketing roadmap. Increase sophistication within key platforms - e.g. Klaviyo, Intercom to create better experiences for prospects and customers that engage and convert. 
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives. Set, monitor and implement tests to improve key metrics. Manage a growth board to identify and test new opportunities to improve key activity. 
  • Own delivery of cross-team and department campaigns. Drive project plans forward to deliver activity on time, within budget and to a high quality standard. 
  • Manage relationships and delivery with external agencies and freelancers to support digital marketing activities ensuring high quality outputs on time, on budget and to a high standard. 
  • Line management. Management of our Digital Analyst, and initiatives developed across key channels from email nurture set up to delivery of growth board activities. 
  • Budget management. Maintain the marketing budget, providing an accurate view of spend to date, compiling management reports.
  • Lead from the front. Work with teams on the ground, providing training, resources and guidance to deliver great programmes. 


Tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage development of email and website content from look and feel to copy development. 
  • Plan and coordinate multiple campaigns across the marketing calendar. 
  • Develop marketing collateral across channels and audiences. 
  • Technical marketing development. 
  • Budget management. 
  • Project management of key campaigns. 
  • Measure and report on progress, sharing progress against KPIs, insights and learnings.

  • Strong copywriting.
  • Experience managing and executing multi channel campaigns.
  • Experience managing complex budgets. 
  • Experience with martech platforms - e.g. Klaviyo. 
  • Passion for working in an exciting and fast-paced environment. 
  • Responsible and committed to meet team goals and deadlines.
  • An energetic personality with a positive dedicated approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, & excel formulas, and the ability to create functional databases, data dashboards and simplify data with ease.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Open to travel where required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You will be based out of our modern office in East London for the majority of the year, some International travel may also be required in some of our awesome locations around the globe.
