YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

As the Sales Manager you will deliver targets through your global team network. Only recruitment, formation and management of the right sales team will ensure success.

You will secure the absolute best sales team globally in the most cost-effective manner. Through ongoing management you will ensure targets are not only achieved but also exceeded.

You will analyse sales performance and prioritise actions. Alongside this, you will evaluate market trends and competitor activity so as to provide analysis and recommendations to management.

You must travel regularly to key destinations to build ongoing relationships with existing team and to identify new ambassadors where necessary. It will be important to develop strong relationships with local market influencers.

Your role will encompass investigating potential brand collaborations, sponsorship deals and creative opportunities.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

As the Sales Manager you will have a detailed understanding of the hospitality or event production market, on and offline. Your outstanding communication skills and ability to influence will enable you to develop strong relationships with a wide range of audiences. The ability to manage remote sales teams is key.

You will have experience working with senior levels and have held a sales managers role for at least 3 years. Your confident and proactive approach will ensure you are able to build meaningful relationships with team members, partners, suppliers, stakeholders and colleagues.

Due to the fast paced and constantly changing nature of the role, you will need to be flexible, work well under pressure and able to provide creative solutions to solve problems.

As the sales Manager you will help drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and collaborative approaches to working across departments to achieve the best results.

Commercial Manager

  • Responsible for purchasing all supplier yachts and accommodation
  • Negotiating agreements for ground arrangements where relevant

  • Providing management to ensure best possible return on inventory

The role

The Commercial Manager will lead the supplier acquisition effort for ETV in our assigned destinations. You will be responsible for the execution of the direct acquisition plan. You will also accountable for the short, mid and long-term growth of our accommodation portfolio by building, developing and sustaining strong supplier and partner relationships in our destinations. Currently this deals almost solely with yacht supply as opposed to hotel supply.

Key accountabilities / responsibilities

As the Commercial Manager you will deliver acquisition targets through new accommodation contracting, management of inventory, rates and supplier relations. You will load all new contracts onto the in-house system.

Securing the best inventory at the most competitive rates through ongoing account management is crucial. You will also be responsible for ensuring all prices, images and descriptions are accurate and promoted effectively within the ETV network.

You will also be responsible for ensuring these are accurately loaded into the system and managed effectively during low and peak seasonal trends ensuring best possible overall revenue management.

You will analyse supply performance and prioritise actions. Alongside this you will evaluate market trends and competitor activity to provide analysis and recommendations to management.

The role will involve regular travel to major destinations to build ongoing relationships with suppliers and secure new contracts. For this reason you must be flexible to travel.

Senior PHP Developer

As a Senior Developer, you will influence all products from planning to delivering.

Graphic/Web Design Intern

THE ROLE

The Yacht Week is looking to hire a talented Graphic/Web Design Intern. The role will be focused on the fast development of our brand by assisting the marketing team in design, B2B/B2C and developing our concepts across all brands.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates need to show good experience when creating graphics and editing photos in Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator and Indesign; basic knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript; great brand understanding, project management skills, think independently and keep to deadlines. They also need to be fluent in both written and spoken English.

MAIN TASKS

The candidate will work on and learn about:

  • Producing full layouts (typographic, photographic and illustrative elements) and final production assets for micro-sites, website optimization tests, online banners, emails, print advertising, apps etc.
  • Create the visual identity for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Define full-cycle user experience as it connects marketing efforts to product strategy.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy by conducting design research and proposing design ideas for marketing and advertising concepts.
