The Yacht Week has been changing the face of the yachting industry since 2006. We have seen consistent growth each year and in 2014 over 1,250 yachts joined our events. For 2015 we forecast booking over 1,550 yachts for guests from over 70 countries making this concept a truly international event.

Help us achieve our goal to create the ultimate event in Croatia, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Thailand and the British Virgin Islands

Operations Manager

Can you handle handle 200 yachts sailing around simultaneously with 60 staff, 180 skippers and 1800 guests in 4 countries?


We are all about great experiences, great teams and ultimately a great company. The operations manager is ultimately responsible for delivering fantastic experiences that result in safe and happy guests. The safer and happier the guests are, the bigger the success of your work - all within a given budget, that is the tough part.

The role will work with The Yacht Week, The Ski Week and new ventures on the horizon.


This role is for someone who loves experiences and hospitality. You will design and plan events to a high level of detail. You need to have a diverse profile and enjoy administrational work as well as hands on problem solving. Leadership skills are essential. Problems are there to be solved; where others see problems you see opportunities. This job has an infinite to-do list; the tasks can never be finished. It’s a never ending cycle of work, and growing by the year. You need to love working and be self-motivated. Equally important is to be able to prioritise work and know when it’s enough. This is not a job for someone who doesn’t have stamina and a lot of energy. But at the same time we are not looking for an adrenalin junkie. Most of the job is hard office work that will require good academic skills and huge amount of planning. Budget updates, creating manuals, follow up on reporting routines and crossing off items on long to do lists are part of your daily tasks.

You should have extensive experience of operational planning and execution. Preferably you have worked within hospitality. The essence of our work is happy guests which hugely important. It’s also crucial that you have operational leadership experience, situations where you need to have the team on your side to succeed. In our business the team spirit is key in operating successful events and creating a good company atmosphere. The team spirit transmits to our guests and become part of the brand and the experience.

Sales Manager

We are looking for a driven individual to take over the reigns of all matters sales related across our international markets. The candidate will be able to sell ice to an Eskimo, have great social skills, be well traveled, be deeply ingrained in Generation Y and have a passion for the great outdoors including sailing, skiing, music and culture.

You will lead the development of our sales organisation and community management. Our customers come from over 70 countries, so it's key that you have the experience and intellect needed to understand what drives all the different markets.

Country Manager

The Role

The Yacht Week is looking for strong candidates who have the ability to identify and then target the up and coming trend setters within their country. They should attract both experienced and inexperienced sailors to The Yacht Week, using strategic marketing methods such as event management, sponsorship, social media, partnerships and press as well as building a team of Brand Ambassadors to promote The Yacht Week to increase brand awareness and in turn encourage bookings.

Work Environment

The role is truly a case of what you put in, you will get out. We expect you to work a minimum of 10 hours per week in your local country/market and keep in regular communication with the Head of Sales.


You will earn commission based on yacht sales in your market. This is paid annually.

Graphic/Web Design Intern

The Yacht Week is looking to hire a talented Graphic/Web Design Intern. The role will be focused on the fast development of our brand by assisting the marketing team in design, B2B/B2C and developing our concepts across all brands.


Candidates need to show good experience when creating graphics and editing photos in Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator and Indesign; basic knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript; great brand understanding, project management skills, think independently and keep to deadlines. They also need to be fluent in both written and spoken English.


The candidate will work on and learn about:

  • Producing full layouts (typographic, photographic and illustrative elements) and final production assets for micro-sites, website optimization tests, online banners, emails, print advertising, apps etc.
  • Create the visual identity for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Define full-cycle user experience as it connects marketing efforts to product strategy.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy by conducting design research and proposing design ideas for marketing and advertising concepts.
  • Take on ad hoc design projects as needed.
  • Express design ideas through sitemaps, userflows and wireframes.


The internship will start immediately as soon as a successful candidate is identified. You will be based in The Yacht Week office in London and be required to work 3-5 days a week, 9am to 6pm. You must be eligible to work in the UK.


This is initially a three month internship - during which expenses will be covered.

Are you a rising music video producer star? Let us know... we are currently looking for a talented individual to edit and/or shoot and produce our upcoming trailer content.

We are expecting a trailer equivalent to a Hollywood produced action blockbuster or music video. Our Official Trailer has over 2.5 million views on YouTube. It is critical to have a touch and feel for rhythmical visuals. We only have 90 seconds to reflect the experience and convince the viewer. We promise a great adventure, exciting scenes and a great time.
