Remember dancing in the sunshine, surrounded by new friends, looking out over crystal blue water? No? If a proper summer feels like a distant dream, we’re here to refresh your memory.
In honour of all these years of hazy but crazy sailing stories, we're super excited to launch the Aftermovie competition! We know what it's like when you return from The Yacht Week and your video camera or camera roll is full of amazing memories of you looking stunning on a 50ft yacht and you just want to share them with the world.
How to enter:
It’s time to relive those wild summer memories as we're encouraging all Yacht Weekers, old and new, to scroll to the top of their Instagram archives, dig out their Aftermovie and post the absolute gems on Instagram for the next 7 days.
Post your Aftermovie or fave clip on your Instagram feed, (use IGTV with a feed preview if your movie is over 1 minute long) tag @theyachtweek and use #tywaftermovie. The movie that wins will be the one that best shows off the vibes of The Yacht Week.
You have until 1st September 2020 to post your entries and transport us back to your fave The Yacht Week memories.

What's up for grabs to those lucky winners we hear you asking? If you enter a whole Aftermovie then the prize will be a GoPro camera to keep your filmmaker dreams alive. And for our fave short clip you will win your very own pair of stylish Blenders Sunglasses.
Plus we will also post the winners on our own social channels - that's right, insta fame could be yours.
