Full Stack Developer

The Role

We are looking for a passionate developer to join our team in London. You should have a few years of experience but more importantly like to have fun, travel and love building cool things! Our stack is mainly Symfony2, React and SASS. We are also working on a mobile application built in React Native with Parse Server as backend. Our tech team is responsible for all our websites and our booking systems that are built in-house in Symfony2. Recently we started to rebuild parts of our front-end in React. You can see the latest React project here https://www.theyachtweek.com/browse, we decided to rebuild our yacht booking engine in React to make it blazingly fast.

Responsibilities

  • A few years work experience
  • Passion about learning new technologies and tools
  • Good knowledge of git (know that cherry picking is not to pick cherries and rebase is not a boy band)
  • Great understanding of HTML, CSS and HTTP protocol
  • Like to travel and meet new people from all over the world

Senior Brand Manager, The Ski Week

The Role

We are looking for a driven senior brand manager with an entrepreneurial mind. You will be responsible to lead the expansion of The Ski Week with the ambitious goal of doubling the number of guests in 3 years time. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Sales and Marketing you will be the owner of The Ski Week brand and communications strategy from design to execution. This role is very hands-on and we are looking for someone who thrives under the pressure of delivering tangible results.

After launching four years ago we are now ready for the next phase, to grow The Ski Week and become the best ski festival on the market. You'll do this through a mix of excellent online marketing skills, strategic partnerships and nurturing our existing global community.

The Ski Week is closely related to The Yacht Week and you'll become a main player in the S&M team that cover both brands. Your main focus will be TSW but the whole team is working across both brands so you'll naturally get involved in TYW activations as well.

We are looking for someone with minimum 3 years experience within marketing and a track record of delivering high results. You are organized and used to manage yourself and others. You must have a strong interest in travel and skiing. Your base will be in London but expect to spend much time on the road.

Responsibilities

  • Design and launch new overarching communications strategy for TSW
  • Assume responsibility to grow TSW and achieve high sales targets
  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the website
  • Address new markets to keep a multinational and diverse crowd at our events
  • Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness
  • Improve usability, track conversion rates and identify areas that need improvement on the website
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Ski/Snowboard at our events

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for traveling

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant area

Senior Marketing Analyst

The Role

We are looking for an aspiring marketing superstar with an analytical mind to join our growing sales and marketing team at our head office in London, UK. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing (HoSM) you will be involved in researching and executing the overarching communications strategy across the brand portfolio.  Your most important tasks will include performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis to guide decision making as well as supporting the HoSM with building presentations to the MD and the board.

This role will be primarily analytical. We are looking for somebody who is not afraid to get their hands dirty in a spreadsheet or to number crunch under pressure. At the same time, you will form part of an entrepreneurial and creative team where flexibility, versatility and problem-solving abilities are highly valued.   • Responsible for measurement and reporting of all sales and marketing KPI

The Role

We are looking for a fun, intelligent and sociable superstar to support our Global Community Manager in nurturing and developing the incredible community surrounding The Yacht Week and The Ski Week. With our boutique festivals as your platform you will build mutually valuable relationships with brands, media outlets and influential individuals benefitting the organization. You must be willing to travel the world but at the same time be a highly organized individual who do not fear office work. You should have solid experience from the agency side and any type of entrepreneurial experience is a big plus.

 

Responsibilities

PR Relationships

  • Coordinate all public relations activities
  • Evaluate potential PR agencies
  • Develop and execute influencer strategy
  • Plan press trips and events

Partnerships

  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on a regular basis.
  • Source and manage relations with partners and sponsors.

Curators

  • Develop, test and implement community curation programs.
  • Aid in the recruitment and of curators.
  • Manage all internal communication with the selected curators.

Group Bookings

  • Manage and monitor all group bookings for TYW/TSW
  • Research and source potential opportunities for group bookings

Overall Offline Strategy

  • Work with the offline sales team to develop an overall offline marketing strategy including goals, budget and tactics.
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis

 

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a PR consultant role and/or at a PR Agency
  • Minimum of a completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Proven track record of securing sponsorships and partnerships
  • Well-travelled, sociable and curious
  • Self-starter with very strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience from writing press releases
  • Experience from crisis management is an advantage
