Okay guys, wow. It’s been a summer we will never EVER forget. And although we say that every year, this time it’s different. After spending 18 months at home, not knowing when we would next be allowed to dance together again and explore our wonderful world - this season meant more than ever before. We danced, we laughed, we explored, we even cried but damn did we all deserve it.
Against all odds we managed to bring 5,331 of you wonderful explorers out to the Mediterranean for 24 mind-blowing Yacht Weeks, We love that we have the perfect stage for people to live their best lives and meet new friends from all over the world, we had 42 different nationalities out on the water this year!
We explored the best islands that Croatia and Greece have to offer, from Hvar to Vis and Hydra to Ermioni. It was the first time we sailed around Sardinia and the Emerald Coast which was a massive success and meant that in total we throughout the season we sailed a whopping 918,315 nautical miles. That’s 42 times around the world, yep you read that right, 42 times.
The pinnacle of The Yacht Week - the raft parties were as out of this world as ever and this year it felt even sweeter to see those circles formed week after week. This season saw 20 tunnel rafts and 21 circle rafts and a whole lotta good vibes. And it’s not just good vibes in the air on The Yacht Week as love is clearly in the air as we had 5 proposals across the season - we love to see it!
Of course, none of this would be possible without our 84 truly amazing Skippers and Hosts. They take The Yacht Week to the next level and make your week the best it can possibly be. They sail the yachts with ease, cook up a storm in the galley and give you the best recommendations to make the most of your trip. Skippers and Hosts, we salute you.
Now after such a successful season we look to 2022 and already have plans for the summer that will blow your boat shoes off. So get ahead of the crowd and book your week for summer 2022 now ‘cos you know what they say, the earlier you book the longer you have to look forward to it! Sea you out there!
