This December, millions of cinema lovers will watch Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, the new romantic comedy from Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, and discover that alongside the star-studded cast list, there's one more... Croatia.

While searching for a place that captured the spirit of freedom, friendship, and connection, the production team came across Yacht Week, flotillas of yachts sailing together through the Adriatic, friends dancing under the stars, and that unmistakable summer energy.

They didn’t just see an event, they saw a world. A world built on youth, travel, and spontaneity. And that’s how Yacht Week became the set for Bollywood’s most anticipated romantic film of the year.

From Inspiration to Reality

Once the team had seen Yacht Week Croatia, there was no question where the story should unfold. Croatia’s coastline, already world-famous among travellers, offered exactly the mix of beauty and atmosphere they needed.

Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora, the film brings together Bollywood icons Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday in a story that follows two strangers who fall in love on a sailing trip and find something real among the waves.

Filmed during a genuine Yacht Week Croatia route, joining us in the same iconic destinations that have defined our summers for nearly two decades:

• Vis – Fort George & Stiniva Bay
• Hvar – where sunset parties meet the harbour lights
• Bol – with its golden beaches and endless horizon

Every frame you see on screen captures what we’ve celebrated for 20 years: life lived on the water, surrounded by friends and freedom.

A shared journey: 20 years on the Croatian coast

Since 2006, Yacht Week has called Croatia home. Together with local partners, we’ve introduced a new generation to sailing, the 20-to-35-year-olds who want travel with soul and spontaneity. Two decades later, that same youthful energy has reached Bollywood’s biggest screen.

This collaboration feels like a full-circle moment: a celebration of everything Croatia has given us, its crystal-clear bays, its coastal culture, its spirit of adventure and a chance to share it with a whole new audience.
